Island Carriers is freight haulage company based on St. Mary’s on the Isles of Scilly. Working for and being part of a small community means there is a greater need to diversify and we tackle many jobs your standard hauliers would not consider. Our freight may range from telegraph poles, concrete blocks, tonne bags down to a tin of beans for the local shop. With over 45 years of experience the Island Carriers team is equipped to deal with any situation presented.

Operations Manager
Jeanette has been working for Island Carriers since March 2016. With her hands on approach she has built a team of strong reliable and dedicated individuals. -
Ray Brown
HGV Driver & Fuel Technician
Ray a former Royal Marine joined the Island Carriers team in March 2016. When he moved to Scilly he met his wife Irene and they successfully ran The Mermaid Inn for over 20 years. -
Emma Squire
Operations Supervisor
Emma started working at Island Carriers in November 2018. She has a background in pub management and is a trained level 4 personal trainer as well as having a BHS II in horsemanship. -
Herbie St. Pier
Driver
Herbie joined Island Carriers straight from school in 2017. He worked here full-time until recently when he was able to pursue his dream of being a personal trainer at the local gym. He now works with us part-time.
