Island Carriers is freight haulage company based on St. Mary’s, working for and being part of a small community.  With over 45 years of experience the team is equipped to deal with any situation presented.

Island Carriers are on the lookout for a new driver to join their friendly, hardworking and loyal team.

The position includes full training for the successful candidate, including initial driving lessons for those who do not hold a full driving licence.

The work-based, on the job training programme will help you develop the skills you need for the role and set you up for your future career.

Car test, HGV, ADR, CPC, HIAB and forklift training is available for the suitable candidates.

This position will be ideal for applicants at the start of or looking for a change in career, and offers a great opportunity for school leavers or those wishing to retrain.

Requirements:

• Minimum provisional driving licence.

Hours
