Courier Services
At Island Carriers we ensure that our courier service always meets the highest standards. We can handle all types of deliveries from small parcels to large heavy loads as well as refrigerated items for both domestic and commercial purposes to, from and around St. Mary’s.

Fuel, Air & Water
From the pump sell diesel and unleaded fuel at a competitive price.
We are open Monday to Saturday from 08:30 until 17:30.

Van, Crane & Plant Hire
We have a range of vehicles available to hire for short term periods at a competitive price.
From cranes that can lift up to 8 tonnes to commercial vans we will have something to suit your requirements whilst you carry out work on St. Mary’s.

Luggage Pick Up
If you’re travelling on the Scillonian III we can pick up and deliver your luggage to your holiday accommodation on St. Mary’s for a small charge. Just make sure your luggage is clearly labelled with your holiday address and we’ll automatically transfer your items.
A return service is also available to book, please listen out for the announcements on the Scillonian III during your crossing.
We are also able to deliver larger items such as kayaks or bikes, if booked in advance.

Boat Launch & Recovery
Launching and recovering your boat can be challenging. At island carriers we can take the hassle away; we can launch your boat on the date you require, store your trailer, then recover your boat when needed (max weight 4 tonne, max length 35 feet).
If you have brought your boat over on the Scillonian III, we can provide a same day launch service when you book in advance.

Domestic & Commercial Removals
Whether you’re moving to or from the mainland or somewhere new on Scilly we can help transport your belongings and get them where they’re supposed to be. We work very closely with our mainland partners to assist in house removals from all over the UK.
When your items arrive on either the Gry Maritha or Scillonian III we can transport them to your new house or store them until you need them.

Waste & Recycling Removal
We provide general waste and recycling collection and disposal services to businesses and households across St. Mary’s. Island Carriers are licenced to collect cardboard, poly boxes and glass.
By working closely with agencies, we ensure our waste disposal meets all environmental regulations and your recyclable items are recycled appropriately to licenced sites either on St. Mary’s or the mainland. With thanks to funding, our baler and polybox baler will help to reduce the amount of residual waste within the business, but also create a recycling facility for the islands.

Skip Hire
We have skips available in 4 or 7 cubic yards to help you tackle everything from small domestic work to commercial projects.

Vehicle Ramp Hire
Our 20 tonne vehicle ramp is available to hire from £100 a day.

Storage
Our storage facility is dry and secure. We offer short and long term storage options for as little as £10 a week.
We can store bulky single items through to full house loads and we will always try to help if you have special storage requirements.
Our new mezzanine floor, funded by the Council of the Isles of Scilly’s Voucher Scheme, has given us increased storage capacity.

Chilled Goods Storage
Our large 20ft chilled storage unit and freezers allow us to offer storage for food and perishables for domestic and commercial purposes.
The valuable extra storage will help with storing goods over busy periods such as gig weekend and bank holidays.
